How to get one of our puppies…

Is a Pembroke Welsh Corgi right for you?

The Pembroke Welsh Corgi is a wonderful breed but they are not for everyone. Just like every breed, the corgis have both good and bad characteristics.

  • Loyal and loving companions

  • Medium sized dogs

  • Some are barkers

  • Corgis have a double coat, so they shed.

  • Corgis are a herding breed and may try to herd other animals or small children by nipping at your heels.

  • They require lots of exercise and mental stimulation. If these needs are not met, they may become destructive.

STEP 1:

Apply by completing the “Puppy Application”

The puppy application is a way for us to get to know you, don’t worry there are no wrong answers. :)

We will review your application and contact you via phone within 24 hrs. Please note that we reserve the right to deny anyone at anytime if we feel they are not a good fit for one of our puppies.

STEP 2:

Complete Reservation Contract

Once your application has been approved, we will email you our Reservation Contract.

STEP 3:

Place Reservation Fee

We require a $200 non-refundable reservation fee to be placed on the reservation list. This fee will be deducted from the final price of your puppy.

STEP 4:

What’s Next?

We will contact you when we confirm pregnancy and then again when the puppies are born. We will post weekly videos and pictures of the puppies from the time they are born until they go to their forever homes.

At 7 weeks of age the puppies will be vet checked and we will also have our “Pick Day”. We will have a zoom meeting to help each client pick their perfect puppy.

STEP 5:

Getting Prepared For Your New Puppy.

Puppies will be ready to go to their forever homes at 10 weeks of age.

New Puppy Shopping List

  • Quality Pet Food - Our Corgis are fed a raw diet and every puppy will go home with at least a week’s worth of food. We get our food from Florida Kennel Supply. They deliver quality food to your home. It is less expensive than the other raw dog food companies.

  • Crate with divider - If you get a larger crate with divider then you will be able to use it for puppy and adulthood.

  • 6 foot leash

  • Training Treats - We love to use cheese sticks, blueberries, and shredded chicken. We like to say, “Corgis brains are in their stomach,” which makes them easy to train.

  • Cleaning solution with odor eliminator - KennelSol, OdoBan, or Simple Green

  • Teething Toys

  • Water & Food Bowls

STEP 6:
